Here we are ...another "I can't believe it is Thursday already" day is ahead. I am amazed how quickly time passes. The older I get, I realize how valuable my time has become. Sometimes I feel I don't want to waste one minute on opportunities God has given me to feel His love and His peace...There is a sense of urgency in fulfilling His purpose for my life, and I often realize these are moments filled with the spirit of God. They are moments in a hectic day, when God allows me to truly embrace His presence.

The days are passing quickly...What are you going to do today to feel the presence of God? I hope you will consider this as you walk with him today and allow Him to fill you with what it is you have been missing.

This morning I woke up late...I started to panic and then took a deep breath and thought, It is okay... I am a teacher. As long as I arrive before my students, I am okay. I got dressed quickly and thanked God for a good hair day which required no extra care (smiles), washed my face, and threw on a little make up while my morning cup of HELP was brewing in the kitchen.

As I drove to work I thought how hectic our lives have become. We live in a constant, faced pace world of hurry. I thanked God for the day ahead, and realized sometimes I really do need a Wake Up Call...How about you?

For some, fall brings thoughts of sadness as winter prepares to arrive...It's easy to feel depressed when it is gloomy outside, and we must spend more time indoors. I woke up this morning thinking about what one little girl asked me to pray about in Sunday School yesterday...She mentioned  her mother had just lost her job, and was going through a rough time. I was impressed that such a young girl would have such caring thoughts about her mother's sitatution...As she spoke she smiled when I reminded her God can take care of all things, if we pray, trust and believe...If a little child can smile through heart ache and be calmed by reassurance that God is control, then we too should call upon the Lord to calm us in whatever it is that makes us feel sad..."I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised." Call upon the Lord. Trust Him to bring you peace in this Monday as you walk with Him.

Jeremiah 31:3 ~ "The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you."

Go with God's love in your heart today and worship the One who has drawn us with His loving kindness. If you do that, I know you will smile!!!!
I will love you Lord with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind, with all my strength... God bless you!

Hello Saturday...I will stand still this morning and feel the presence of God. I will call to Him and praise His name. I will thank Him for the week which has passed, and praise Him for the week ahead, knowing He is with me every moment. I will find opportunities to feel grateful in this day, and understand the many blessings He has given me. I will sing for Him as I complete my weekend tasks, and know He is God. Then my heart will feel content, as I consider He is pleased with my love for Him.

Will you take a moment for some Saturday Stillness today? Will you offer your heart to God? He is great, He is good, and He loves you! This week's devotional is posted. I hope you will read it.

Good morning Lord, How wonderful is your love...You have carried us through the week, and allowed us to feel your presence. God, you breathe life into our souls. As we stand still and receive your peace, you reminds us you are here. Our hearts are content when we consider you are always with us Lord. You love us, even on days we forget you are near, waiting...reaching out to us. You are our patient God, who knows we cannot walk alone. Thank you for this Thursday. Open our hearts to your will today and show your love in what we say and what we do...Help us understand that the offerings of our hearts will please you, and bring joy on this day you have created. Amen

The chairs which face the ocean will one day welcome all which is before me. I will sit by my Lord and stay awhile, resting in the place where God will allow me to fulfill the longings of my heart, and His purpose for my being...

I'm thankful to live in a place where I am free, to choose who I will serve and worship faithfully. I'm proud of what I feel when I look across this land, and see the heart of good in those who understand that one nation under God is what we need. Listen to this simple tribute to America, and enjoy the voices of the children who pledge their love to our country.
