Last night I wrote my devotional, and once again thanked God for His words. I am convinced He inspires us when we are still, and open to receive the work we will complete for Him.. He lovingly lays the foundation of what He requires, and allows us to complete His tasks, when we are obedient. God is good. He knows what He has given us to share, and rewards each one with a heart of content, as we become His accomplished servants. Have you considered the gifts God has given you? You can bless Him as you serve Him with a grateful heart and share Him with others.  I hope you will think about this as you enjoy the Saturday God has created, and you accomplish the tasks He has prepared just for you.

This morning it's quiet in my house. I love this time with God. I consider what I will write for my next devotional, knowing God will give me a message to share. I pray and ask Him to allow those who receive His words, to feel His presence and His love. God needs us to do His work here on earth...He gives us gifts, and prepares us to use them. He gives us tools we need to serve Him, and the ability to help others know Him as Lord.

God can fill our souls with the heartbeat of His words, and prepare us with a desire to help others feel His presence. What gifts has He given you to share? It's amazing how quickly a puppy becomes part of the family... Our dog Luci has been in our home for only two months. She was dumped at my school, lost and on her own... It's easy to tell she is grateful to have a home. She is  the happiest little dog I have ever known, and she knows she is loved.

I consider many are lost, in need of love, hoping to find shelter. God is waiting for us to find comfort in His arms...He can find us when we are lost, and allow us to feel His love, the greatest joy we have never known. God loves us...Will you allow Him to rescue you today?

Today I will enjoy a celebration of Thanksgiving at my preschool. I will be happy when the last feathered headband is made, and the drums are ready to beat a rhythm of happy children. I will be glad when the popcorn has been popped, and every necklace has been laced with beads. I will smile as we prepare for the Popcorn Feast, and discuss what makes us feel thankful. I am blessed to share the joy of children who truly know how to embrace every experience I provide. I consider God wants us to embrace all He provides for us, as He lovingly waits for us to receive what it is He has to offer. I pray you will celebrate, and be happy in whatever God has chosen for you in this day ahead.

I love baking... As I wake early to make Pumpkin Bread, I am reminded it takes many different ingredients which mix well together. Each has purpose to create a satisfying reward. God has great purpose for our lives. He gives us the ingredients we need to benefit from His reward, as we serve Him.. I pray we will be patient as we consider how to mix God's ingredients of a life, and understand His will. He has great plans for us...Keep mixing all He will provide, and faithfully believe when God is ready, He will show you His satistying reward. God bless you dear friends...Have a wonderful Monday!

I enjoy worship on Sunday, a day to praise God! Our pastor always speaks with a gentle voice. As he shares his message, I find myself listening intently to every word he provides for us to absorb. God speaks gently to our hearts. Maybe we cannot hear his voice, but when we take time to listen, we understand what it is He wants for us to hear, as we walk with Him. Be blessed in your day as you worship God. Praise Him for all things and love Him with a grateful heart.

It has been over a year since I started writing my devotionals. I pray as you read what God allows me to share, you will feel His peace, and become encouraged to know Him more...I just posted "A Grateful Heart." I hope you will read it and consider what makes you grateful. Happy Sunday!

Saturday is here! This will be a big work day at home for me. There is always a lot to do on the weekends...How I wish I could sit here, writing all day, enjoying the very thing I love the most! Oh housework, ugh...A day of dreaded activities I do not enjoy (smiles) will consume me today. But, no matter what is ahead , God can strengthen us as we find joy in His presence. I often sing when I clean the kitchen, or talk to God when I vacume. Sometimes I become tired and say, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." God is near and He loves you. I pray you will feel Him reaching out to you, as you find strength in your heart to prepare for whatever you are facing today. God bless you friends...

I can't believe how fast time pushes us ahead, as we wake to moments which are given as gifts to receive. We embrace them, and prepare to share them with others. God wants us to greet each day with an understanding that He is in control of your lives. He knows our hearts, and He knows our needs. God pours His love through the hour glass held in our hands. It pours freely until it stops, and we choose to make it flow again. Time is going quickly. How will you chose to embrace the day God has given you? Precious hours of time will pass through each day of life. I pray you will receive what God gives you , and be filled in His love on this Friday ahead.

In one week we will celebrate Thanksgiving. I am thinking of those who may not sit at a table with those they love, or have enough food to nourish their bodies. Thanksgiving may not bring contentment and joy for everyone, but God can provide us with the spiritual food we need. He can help us develop peace, and a grateful heart for what He will provide. 

Jesus knew suffering. He died on the cross, and He knows the burdens we carry in our hearts. Next Thursday is Thanksgiving...It doesn't have to be a holiday which is celebrated at the table...It can be day to faithfully praise God for what is, and what is to come, as you trust He will provide you with everything you need.
