I hope you will visit the Devotional Page and read this week's devotional "Baby Steps". Sometimes we need to learn to walk slowly so God can prepare us to understand His will. I have grown to love this place to write ...How I need time to share with God, and each of you. God prepares our hearts to welcome Him to feel His presence. He is always near... waiting for us to call upon Him. He is waiting with outstretched arms to embrace us, and remind us He is here. I often pray for those who take time to read these blogs...I wonder where you are sitting today, as you welcome God. I pray you will feel the peace of His presence as you walk with Him and discover He is closer than you think...

Friday is here...It has been a long week of Parent Teacher Conferences and site visits for new parents. Yesterday I met with some parents who are looking for a school for their preschoolers for the fall. They had many questions... I took much time talking with them, and answering questions they had about our program. I forget how it feels to prepare to leave a child for the very first time, and trust that the teacher will take good care of their most prized possession. We too must prepare our hearts to spend time with God. He loves us and wants to take care of all of our needs. When we trust in His will and are faithful to believe He will lovingly watch over us, we can be reassured that His continued presence will bring us peace. Next week I will register all of the new students. I pray God will bring peace to the hearts of their parents, and allow them to joyfully anticipate what is to come...<

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for this Thursday.Thank You for opportunities to share your love. I pray this site will speak to those who take time to come here each day and find encouragement, as they draw closer to You. Lord, help us never become too busy to stop and spend time with You. Open our hearts to discover what is waiting for us, as we learn to embrace this day You have created. Help us remember nothing can happen today that together we cannot handle when we trust in You. The older I become, I tend to forget things from time to time...Does this happen to you? Last night I got into my car after a busy day, and realized I had forgotten my cell phone....The alarm was set on the building I left, and there was no hope of getting it back. My first reaction was to panic and consider I would have no way of communicating on the way home...(I am so spoiled) We take so much for granted, and wonder how we survive without the things we have become so accustomed to in our lives. God is the good provider. Maybe He needs for us to do without every now and then so we can fully understand how very blessed we are to enjoy the wonderful things He has given. As I drove home, I prayed and thanked God for the quiet time I had with Him....By the time I got home, my spirit was calm and I realized my calls could wait until morning...Hmm I hope I don't forget where I put my phone!&

Happy Monday friends...I hope you have time to check out the Devotional Page and read this week's devotional "Where Do We Go From Here." Often we want to move ahead, but are not able to leave our comfort zone. God can create a spirit of confidence deep within us, and help us discover true joy. He allows us to discover we are equipped to serve Him. As we do, He provides us with all we need and rewards us with a heart of content.

Yesterday I saw the sun and was reminded spring will once again fill us with hope of what's to come. God's love is like the sun. It shines when we need to know it is there.Those who want to experience its warmth will develop an understanding of its yellow purpose.Blessings will be revealed from the same sun, in the same sky, no matter where we stand to accept it.<

Happy Saturday friends... I'm preparing my heart to write this week's devotional, and considering how God uses us to serve Him. Every one of us has something to share. I believe God allows us to grow and develop the gifts He has given, as we obediently begin fulfilling His purpose for our lives, and embrace what He chooses for us to receive. But, what if we are not sure how God will use us? What if we have not yet discovered his purpose of service for Him? I think I will write about this later.
