I'm anxious to have a Yard Sale this summer...I'm sure there will be no problem selling some of the "junk" I have stored in boxes for so long. My "junk" may be the very thing someone else will choose to treasure...I consider God treasures us. We sometimes feel unworthy of His love...Perhaps we feel like old junk, laying in the bottom of the box, waiting to be discarded. But, God pulls us out of the box and reminds us we are treasured by Him. He allows us to see what He has created within us, and He shows us the promise of understanding His purpose for our lives. God loves us... He needs us to trust He will do great things when we allow Him to lead us, and faithfully step out of the bottom of the box.

Good morning Lord, Thank you for waking us to this Wednesday. Lord, please watch over those who read these blogs. I cannot  begin to know what you have planned for the day ahead, but I can ask you to help these friends draw near, as you allow them to be filled with what they need. Lord, you are a mighty God. Help us to trust in you, especially when we are distracted by the world around us and forget you are in control of our lives. AMEN

Good morning friends. It's gloomy and dreary here, but the birds still find reason to sing, as they announce the arrival of another day, and faithfully sing their songs of praise for what is to come... It's hard to sing praises to God when our souls are weary ,and all we see is gray around us. God takes care of the birds, and He takes care of us. Even when we do not see the sun, we can trust it will once again present itself, when we need to be warmed by its greatness. I pray you will sing praises to God, and thank Him for this day He has created. "Come before His presence with singing and know that He is God..." Have a happy Tuesday friends!

Good morning to you...Hello Saturday. This is a busy day ahead for me. I wake to thoughts of everything that will be accomplished in this day, and for a moment (or two) I feel overwhelmed. But, as I take time to sit and allow God to fill me with His presence, I am reminded He is near, as I calm to needed peace which comes from Him. My soul is strengthened, and I am armed in ability to choose how I will embrace the day He has provided. What are you facing in your day ahead? This morning I am thinking of my dear friends who lovingly encourage me, care about me and help me through times when I need them the most. God has blessed me with special friends... I sometimes forget to thank them for their kindness and ability to make me smile. As I read "Friends are the family one finds along the way" on a plaque which hangs in my kitchen, I consider how  fortunate I am to have a family of friends, God has chosen especially for me... This morning Luci (my dog) woke me up earlier than ususal. I could feel her presence, as she got close to my face and stared down at me, waiting patiently to go outside. Her little tail was moving so quickly , and I was not...(smiles). I was tired and looking forward to a little more sleep before the alarm went off. But,Luci needed me to help her. She counts on me to take care of her needs and provide for her in ways that she cannot.

God provides for us and takes care of our needs. God can do what we cannot. He can do ALL things. I hope you will consider this as you walk with Him today.
