Hi everyone, Sorry I wasn't able to post this morning...I had some technical difficulties that have now been resolved...
I miss not being able to post early in the morning. I begin my day in the presence of God, as I seek him and ask Him to fill my heart with a message to share. But, I promise to be back tomorrow with another blog, and a heart that is ready to embrace all God will allow me to receive. I'm praying for you as you go through your day. I'm hoping God will speak to your heart with a message He has prepared just for you...God bless you friends!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
I love this scripture...How we need to release the burdens of our hearts and put our trust in God. We cannot completely trust God to strengthen us, unless we surrender everything to Him and believe He will take care of our needs. Faith allows us to realize we don't have to understand what happens in our lives. We can expect God will show us the plan He has for each one of us. He lovingly allows us to come before His presence. God provides us with reassurance that He will take care of our needs, and allow us to continue on the path He has chosen. We must learn to trust in Him.

Good Friday morning friends...How are you today? I hope you have opened your eyes and called upon God, as He has allowed you to wake to another day He has created. God waits for us to seek Him and come before His presence. I write a lot about having a grateful heart. When we show God gratitude in what He provides, we learn to recognize all He has given. Sometimes we become consumed with the "I want" requests in our lives, and forget to consider God is preparing us to receive what we need, in His time and for His purpose. Have a great day ahead and remember God loves You !

As the days approached to say "goodbye" to my dad, it was hard to consider I would soon be leaving Florida. My heart felt heavy and weary...I prayed and asked God to help me enjoy the time I had left . He reminded me there is benefit in having a grateful heart. As I embraced my dad in our last moments of conversation, God's words spoke from my heart... "Let's be grateful for the time we've had, and believe God will provide opportunities for us to be together again." His words filled our hearts with content. I thought about this as I traveled home, and thanked God for His presence in my life. No matter what we go through, God is pleased when we lean on Him. When we seek Him with a grateful heart, we understand He will provide, and fill us with everything we need. Have a good day friends. I am thinking of YOU!

I had a wonderful trip to Florida...One day my dad and I went to the beach (my favorite place). I picked shells for my little students. As I placed them in my hand, I considered how perfect God made each one...delicate and for a purpose. You cannot stand on the edge of the shore and not consider beauty in what God has created. The water hits the shore and overflows. If we stand close enough, we can allow it to cover our feet. It is overwhelming to compare the waves with the love God has for each one of us...If we stand close enough to Him, He allows His love to overflow and reach us where we stand.
God created each one of us for a purpose...He lovingly allows us to fulfill the plan He has for our lives, as we trust Him to prepare us for His greatness. Have a wonderful Wednesday...I have missed each one of YOU

Good morning friends...I have missed you and thought about YOU while I was gone. It was dificult for me to get on and post. (computer issues) but I am ready to write this week's devotional...Thank you for your patience as you have waited for it to be posted. I spent some much needed time with my dad. This is the first year I have had the opportunity to be with him by myself. We talked and shared together ,and my heart feels so grateful. I thank God for moments to relax and consider what He provides, when we need it the most. I am happy to be back here with you and anxious for God to prepare my heart to continue the good work He has begun in me. God bless you dear friends...more to come!

Good morning friends...I'm hoping the sun will shine today. We will leave for the beach soon. It's my favorite place to visit...I sit and take everything in, as I look at the water and hear the sounds around me...I feel close to God as I open my eyes to all He has created and marvel at His greatness.
Sometimes my heart longs for the beach... a place to sit, rest and consider all that is ahead for me. Living in the Midwest, I seldom have opportunities to enjoy this time with God.
Today I will soak in all I need to fill my soul, and treasure the time I have with my dad. Thank you God for days to look forward to special moments that you provide.

I am so grateful to be here in the Sunshine State with my father. Last night we stayed up late, talking into the wee hours of the morning. My dad hasn't changed. He is still the sweet, loving man I remember. It is inspiring to see how he has allowed God to help him grow... God can do great things in our lives, as we learn to trust in Him. He has helped my dad deal with the loss of two wives and face many challenges. I am grateful for the opportunity to be here and celebrate Father's Day with him. God bless all fathers!
