One of the tools that God arms us with as we face the new day is a delight in Him. I find that when I focus on God and delight in Him, it makes the day so much better.

"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4

A good friend gave me a calendar for the New Year and this verse is for January. That is a good way to start the New Year, too!

Have a day that makes you smile as you delight in the Lord!!

 I love the ocean, Lord...

I feel your loving presence, as I stand in awe of your greatness.

My heart cries to breathe in all which allows me to share the hope of your love.
