Re: A Blog Offering

Hi Mars I see you here...I'm so glad you read the devotionals...I enjoy remembering what we hear in church often..."We can't but God can..."

Maybe we can convince Tex to post something else...Have a good day Mars!

Re: A Blog Offering

"marsbars" - thank you for your encouragement. Yes, Nan has a special way of writing words from God.
And Nan, I like that balloon picture and the little quote about dreams. We all have dreams but only God can bring them to pass. Those are the best kind of dreams!!
mars and Nan....have a day that makes you smile!!!

Re: A Blog Offering

Nan, it is Tuesday and I get a little anxious on this day. I was going to look up some scripture this morning. When My bible came open it was at Mark 5:36 which says "Dont be afraid, Just believe". I know this was God speaking to me. It is amazing how sometimes when you open your bible, it opens to a scripture that you need to read. Have a good day Nan and Tex.

Re: A Blog Offering

I have heard it said that faith and fear cannot coexist. That may be true, but fear comes to visit every once in a while. I know from experience. But God's word chases it away. That is a good verse, marsbars.
I am sure someone has done a study of how many times it says "Do not be afraid" in the Bible. It would be great if someone could find out and maybe let us know here???? You could probably just google it...
Everyone have a day that makes you smile!

Re: A Blog Offering

God does speak to us Mars...He is reminding you He is near and He loves you...I'm so glad you found comfort in this scripture...Sometimes that happens to me and I feel God speaking to me...It always brings me peace...Have a good day ahead...The joy of the Lord is my strength...oh how we always need to think of that...especially on a day when there will be many preschoolers heading my way...(smiles) Enjoy your day dear friend and know that I am thinking of you...

Hi ya Tex...Well that would be a good idea...I hope someone reading this may decide to research this...I like remembering faith and fear cannot coexist.

Have a good day you two...This is the day that the Lord has made...We will rejoice and be glad in it!

Why I Love the Ocean... Minimize

 I love the ocean, Lord...

I feel your loving presence, as I stand in awe of your greatness.

My heart cries to breathe in all which allows me to share the hope of your love.

Thank you God for words which flow like waves in my soul, rushing to greet me...

Each time I visit the ocean, you breathe new life into my being, and fill my heart with a message of love to share...

Thank you, Lord...

Nan's Thoughts... Minimize

The chairs which face the ocean will one day welcome all which is before me. I will sit by my Lord and stay awhile, resting in the place where God will allow me to fulfill the longings of my heart, and His purpose for my being...

I'm thankful to live in a place where I am free, to choose who I will serve and worship faithfully. I'm proud of what I feel when I look across this land, and see the heart of good in those who understand that one nation under God is what we need. Listen to this simple tribute to America, and enjoy the voices of the children who pledge their love to our country.
