Re: Hold Me In Your Arms Lord

I realize how lucky I am to be a child of God...His arms are always open wide and He is waiting to hold me, and lift me to the place where I can see what is ahead in this place I call my life...Sometimes I need for Him to wrap his loving arms around me and then I am reminded "it is well in my soul". Thank you God for loving me...You are my God and I love you Lord, with all my heart...

Re: Hold Me In Your Arms Lord

I also think about the fact that we alone cannot live in the world without God....How I wish everyone would reach out to Him and allow Him to touch their lives with His love... His arms are stretched out wide enough...all we have to do is take the time to lift our arms toward Him and hold on tight!

Re: Hold Me In Your Arms Lord

His open arms are waiting for us to come to him. He never shuts us off or sends us away. Others may reject us or ignore us, but God is loving toward us all the time.
How wonderful to think about that!
May you feel his arms around you today and every day!
That should make you smile today!!

Re: Hold Me In Your Arms Lord

Hello Nan. I enjoyed reading your last devotionals. I hope everything is going well for you. Tex, is it as hot where you live as it has been here in Illinois? I am ready for cooler weather. Please pray for me and my family. God Bless you all!

Hi Mars...I'm glad you read the devotionals...
I pray for you often and know that God hears our prayers...He love us and wants us to come to Him...He has our tomorrows already planned...
Keep coming back each week to read the devotionals friend...

Re: Hold Me In Your Arms Lord

Mars....I will join Nan in praying for you and your family. God is faithful....we can trust him with our lives. He knows exactly how to respond to our needs. Know that he cares.

Yes, it is hot here but not in the mid-90s yet....

Nan and Mars, have a day that makes you smile!

Why I Love the Ocean... Minimize

 I love the ocean, Lord...

I feel your loving presence, as I stand in awe of your greatness.

My heart cries to breathe in all which allows me to share the hope of your love.

Thank you God for words which flow like waves in my soul, rushing to greet me...

Each time I visit the ocean, you breathe new life into my being, and fill my heart with a message of love to share...

Thank you, Lord...

Nan's Thoughts... Minimize

The chairs which face the ocean will one day welcome all which is before me. I will sit by my Lord and stay awhile, resting in the place where God will allow me to fulfill the longings of my heart, and His purpose for my being...

I'm thankful to live in a place where I am free, to choose who I will serve and worship faithfully. I'm proud of what I feel when I look across this land, and see the heart of good in those who understand that one nation under God is what we need. Listen to this simple tribute to America, and enjoy the voices of the children who pledge their love to our country.
