Re: Miracles

Sometimes miracles occur in our lives…I believe when a miracle is "made", it’s very purpose needs time to develop, in the lives of those who have been waiting patiently for answers to their prayers.

Re: Miracles

Good morning Nan. I remember when we got the news about Emma having stage 4 Cancer. God did perform a miracle! Sometimes it's hard to be patient when we are going through trials. The sermon on Sunday was about giving thanks in all circumstances as Paul did when he was in chains in prison.
Hi Tex. Did you have a good weekend? Hope so. The weather was unbelievable this weekend. I hope you have a great week!

Re: Miracles

Miracles....yes, we all need miracles. By their very nature and definition, miracles only occur when God works. It doesn't mean that he won't use human hands to bring them to pass, like doctors and nurses and other health care people, but always, miracles are blessing from God's loving hands.

Nan, yes, pray for me because I have been waiting for a miracle. I can't share it but maybe some day I will feel like I can. Thank you for your prayers.

Mars, my weekend was relaxing and that is a miracle in itself!!! But some special things happened over my weekend, things for which I am thankful. mars, do you and Nan go to the same church? That would be a neat thing!

Both of you, Nan and mars, have a great week....one that makes you smile.

Re: Miracles

Hi Tex. I am glad you had a miraculous weekend. And I will be praying for you to get that miracle you have been praying for. Yesa, Nan and I do go to the same church.
Nan, I hope a miracle occurs in your life too! And will you both pray for me as there is a situation I am going through that causes me much anxiety. I am praying for a miracle for someone in my life. God bless!

That is so great that you go to the same church....you can encourage each other. Yes, I will join Nan in praying for your situation. God knows the specifics and he knows how to work that miracle. I look forward to some day hearing from you that God has answered your prayers.
Have a day that makes you smile......

Re: Miracles

Hi Tex and Mars,
As always, it is good to see you here...I enjoy the little quote which says "Expect a Miracle". It reminds me we should not only hope, but expect we will be blessed with miracles we pray for in our lives...I will pray for you both and ask God to hear your prayers and answer you in His will.

Mars, I understand anxiety...My prayer is that you can give it to God and allow Him to help you receive His peace, knowing He is working in your life and in the lives of those you love.

Tex, God knows the miracle you wrote about... I pray He will answer your prayers and bless you in whatever it is you pray about...

Have a good week ahead my two friends...God bless you both.

Why I Love the Ocean... Minimize

 I love the ocean, Lord...

I feel your loving presence, as I stand in awe of your greatness.

My heart cries to breathe in all which allows me to share the hope of your love.

Thank you God for words which flow like waves in my soul, rushing to greet me...

Each time I visit the ocean, you breathe new life into my being, and fill my heart with a message of love to share...

Thank you, Lord...

Nan's Thoughts... Minimize

The chairs which face the ocean will one day welcome all which is before me. I will sit by my Lord and stay awhile, resting in the place where God will allow me to fulfill the longings of my heart, and His purpose for my being...

I'm thankful to live in a place where I am free, to choose who I will serve and worship faithfully. I'm proud of what I feel when I look across this land, and see the heart of good in those who understand that one nation under God is what we need. Listen to this simple tribute to America, and enjoy the voices of the children who pledge their love to our country.
