Dear Heavenly Father,Thank you for this day you have created. Help us to focus on what is ahead, without worrying about the tomorrows which you have already planned. Help us to put our trust in you and open our hearts to the burdens we need to surrender.
God you are holy, mighty and true. Help us to trust you, and remember to praise you for all things... great and small. God only you can know the burdens of our hearts.
Be with those who are reading this today, who need to be reminded you are in control. Bless them with your peace. As you wrap your loving arms around them, strengthen their minds with the reassurance that you Lord, know our every single need...You are our hope, you are our strength and we can put our faith in You. Amen

I want to thank you for your blog...I like the way you remind us to begin the day knowing that God is with us. If we can get that at the start of the day, it sure helps!
God has been speaking to me about prayer. I think it is a good thing that you emphasize it on your website. It would be great if this could become a place where anyone can come and request prayer, or even write their own prayers.

Tex. thank you for thinking of me and for your prayers. I Hope you have a great week. It is hard to believe it is already Monday. I am looking forward to a 3 day weekend. How about you? I hope you get to spend some time in "God's World."
The weather here has been like October, so nice and cool. I walked sunday morning and the temp was 51 at 7 am. It is nice on the electric bills! Have a great week.

Mars, nice to hear from you. It is cool here and I can tell that change is in the air. I love autumn! Before I know it my woods will be bare of leaves but it is still a peceful place. I hope you have a great week also. Three day weekends are great! Labor Day I like to work outdoors for some of the day.

Nan, hope today was a good day at school for you. I thought about you as I saw a school bus going past my house this morning!
