Re: Monday Morning

Nan, It is Tuesday and I wanted you to know that this prayer works on Tuesday too!
Thank you for your encouragement to us.

Would you pray for my 14-month old grandson. Last night he fell and hit his head...required 9 stitches right above his eye. He is okay but would you pray for the cut to heal properly. He is just learning to walk so we should expect these things, right?

Nan and Mars, how are you two doing? I remember you saying that you walk together sometimes. Are you still walking now that the weather is getting cooler? Don't you love autumn? I do....I like the woods and the leaves turning beautiful colors and it is okay that I have to rake some of them. I love the gray clouds with patches of blue, and I really like when the sun breaks through those dark clouds.....you can sometimes see the sun's rays shining down on God's earth. How great is our God!!!

Have a day that makes you smile!

Re: Monday Morning

Hi Tex. I will pray for your grandson. I remember when my son was that age. He had a goose egg on his forhead so many times from falling.
I had a good week off but have so much work to catch up on in the office Just have not had time to get on the blog.
I love the fall. I was driving a few days ago and I saw the sun's rays shining down. It made me think of heaven.
Hi Nan. I hope you are doing good at school. It was fun to meet Lucy the other evening. she is so adorable.
I hope you both have a good rest of the week!

Re: Monday Morning

Good morning, web blog friends. It is 5 in the morning and I am ready to embrace the day! I love mornings....I will love it even more as soon as I get my coffee started!! (smiles)

My grandson is fine....thank you for asking and for praying for him. Since he is just starting to do more walking, these little accidents are bound to happen...lessons of life and growing up. Nan, could there be a devotional in there somewhere!

Mars, glad you had some time off. And who is Lucy? Another walking friend? How does one become a member of this walking club!!!

Nan and Mars, and all the other blog friends, have a day that makes you smile!

Why I Love the Ocean... Minimize

 I love the ocean, Lord...

I feel your loving presence, as I stand in awe of your greatness.

My heart cries to breathe in all which allows me to share the hope of your love.

Thank you God for words which flow like waves in my soul, rushing to greet me...

Each time I visit the ocean, you breathe new life into my being, and fill my heart with a message of love to share...

Thank you, Lord...

Nan's Thoughts... Minimize

The chairs which face the ocean will one day welcome all which is before me. I will sit by my Lord and stay awhile, resting in the place where God will allow me to fulfill the longings of my heart, and His purpose for my being...

I'm thankful to live in a place where I am free, to choose who I will serve and worship faithfully. I'm proud of what I feel when I look across this land, and see the heart of good in those who understand that one nation under God is what we need. Listen to this simple tribute to America, and enjoy the voices of the children who pledge their love to our country.
